Join 200 parents, students, community leaders, and educators coming to Olympia on April 11 with an important message: Charter schools are public schools and we need to keep funding our kids.

• Meeting Times with State Legislators

Parents of K-12 students know how to use their agency and advocate for their kids. The message is straightforward:

• In the toughest times, we need our leaders to fight for us. Don’t cut kids. Don’t cut their education. Charter schools are public schools, and all kids deserve access to a great education—no matter where they go to school.

• Budgets are tight, but kids shouldn’t pay the price. Education must remain a priority. Our leaders must continue to protect all public schools, including charter public schools.

• Charter public schools are free, public, and open to all. They serve diverse students, including those from historically underserved communities, and they are among the highest-performing public schools in Washington.
